Whether you’re planning your first cruise or trying to decide if Carnival is the right line for you, this guide will cover the highlights, tips, and even the hiccups you might want to know about. So grab a cup of coffee—or hey, a margarita! —and let’s dive in.

🌊 Ship Stats at a Glance

  • Length: 1,130 feet

🏋️ The Deck-by-Deck Experience

We started at the very top—Deck 19—with the BOLT roller coaster (yes, there’s a real coaster up there!) and made our way all the way down to our ocean-view cabin on Deck 4.

Some of our favorite spots included:

  • Loft 19 (Deck 19): A private, luxury cabana area for those looking to splurge
  • Serenity Deck (Deck 18): Adults-only, free to use, and perfect for quiet sun time
  • Guy’s Burger Joint & Big Chicken (Deck 16): Easy, delicious, and included
  • Celebration Central & Grand Spectrum Theater (Decks 6–7): For some of the best live entertainment we’ve seen on a cruise
  • Deck 8 Neighborhoods: Felt like its own town, with cocktail bars, BBQ, Italian cuisine, pizza, and more

🍽️ Food: A Star of the Show

Let’s talk food. Here’s what we thought:

  • Loved: Cucina del Capitano (Italian), Emerald’s Bistro 1397, Bonsai Sushi
  • Casual MVPs: Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Big Chicken
  • Not our fave: Pig & Anchor BBQ (sorry, it just didn’t wow us)

“On a 7-day cruise, you could eat at a different place every meal!” —@CherisseKing

Whether you’re a foodie or just need a late-night pizza fix, this ship delivers. (Literally. Room service is a thing!)

🎉 Entertainment & Nightlife

From live theater and comedy clubs to ’80s parties and piano sing-alongs, there’s always something happening. We especially loved:

  • Color My World (Main Theater show)
  • The Havana Bar (Live music and dancing!)
  • The Alchemy Bar (Inventive cocktails, great vibes)

“The comedy was top notch! Three comedians and all had us laughing!” —@lifewithemitawilliams9811

🏖️ Pools, Spa & Serenity

Let’s be honest: cruise ship pools get crowded. But we still managed to carve out some quiet time thanks to:

  • Serenity Deck (our go-to)
  • Therapy Pool in the Spa (worth the extra cost if you want some pampering)
  • WaterWorks for families (slides, splash zones, and all-day fun)

🏛️ Stateroom Tour

We stayed in an Ocean View cabin on Deck 4 and found it spacious, quiet, and perfect for us. The storage was solid, the view was relaxing, and the bed was comfy.

We also explored:

  • Interior cabins
  • Balcony rooms
  • Family Harbor suites
  • Loft-style and premium suites

✨ Tips from Our Cruise (and Viewers!)

  • Book specialty dining early — it sells out fast
  • Use the Carnival Hub app for everything
  • Go to the sail-away and ’80s parties — they’re iconic
  • Explore the ship on Day 1 — it helps to know your way around
  • Pack a carry-on with essentials for embarkation day

“We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary on this ship in 2025! Thanks for making us even more excited!” —@KLC777

🌏 Final Thoughts

This cruise surprised us. Carnival has really stepped up its game with Celebration, and while it’s not perfect (we’d skip the BBQ), it really offers incredible value and nonstop fun.

We had a blast, met some wonderful people, and left with memories we’ll never forget. And if this is your first cruise? You’re in for something special.
